The Samsung Galaxy A8 smartphone is priced at 3,199 CNY ($515) for the base model while the 32GB variant carries a price tag of 3,499 CNY ($564).
Specs-wise, the device is powered by a mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 SoC, and sports a 5.7-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display. The device comes with 2GB RAM and, as already mentioned, it has 16/32GB expandable internal memory options. Camera-wise, the A8 features 16MP rear unit and a 5MP front cam prowess. It now runs Android 5.1 and packs in a convenient 3050 mAh battery.
Hailed as slimmest Samsung smartphone ever (5.9 mm), it is scheduled to be released in China later this month. No disclosed information yet if and when it will be available in other markets.
